Encounter Him is building ways forward for the people of Costa Rica!

Families are enduring rough times in Costa Rica. Establishing a DEEP WATER VESSEL OPERATING SERVICE will enable otherwise unemployed families in Costa Rica to work for themselves generating income while providing jobs for others.

The goal is to create a DEEP WATER VESSEL OPERATING FUND of $80,000 with which to support qualified families endeavoring to purchase deep water vessels to advance their fishing and transport earning opportunities.

Deep water vessels are needed to ferry paying passengers between the mainland and neighboring islands. These vessels also produce advanced revenue potential at fishing grounds offshore which are typically unreachable by ordinary near-shore fishing boats. Both applications provide employment for up five families working each vessel. Vessel operations also provide revenue for land based businesses in support of marine operations.

EH will partner with these seafaring families through no interest loans repayable by installment, and through business consultation.
